This piece holds time in suspension—its industrial core softened by the warmth of rose gold and carnelian.
I salvaged an antique brass clock gear and gave it a new purpose: not to measure time, but to embrace it.. I framed the gear in a fully hand-fabricated structure of solid 14k rose gold, including the gemstone setting, base, pin and latch, designed to showcase its symmetry and aged character.
At the center, I set a glowing, faceted natural carnelian gemstone, echoing the warmth of the brass and the richness of the gold. Each element—gear, gold, and gemstone—was carefully chosen and set to create a one-of-a-kind brooch that balances movement with poetry.
