Welcome, Hailley Baughman!
Lost & Forged is a pretty small operation, by most standards. Usually it's just me (Doug, the founder & silversmith). My mailman, Vernon, is amazingly helpful, but I can't claim him as an employee. I sometimes tell customers that I'll delegate a given project to my 'imaginary staff of 15 helpers', but I'm probably not fooling anyone.
So it's a big deal that I recently hired a marketing assistant. And so....
I'm delighted to welcome and introduce Hailley Baughman! She's already helped expand the capabilities of Lost & Forged, and some of you saw her on livestream video during my Summer Art Fair Online last Sunday.
Hailley is a recent graduate from St. Mary's College of Maryland, with a degree in Studio Art. She's a super talented artist and maker, working in paint & canvas, woodwork, clothing design, stationary printing, jewelry and much more. Her goal is to be a full-time artist in the near future.
For now, though, I've convinced her to help with some of my email, social media and more. She has lots of experience with digital communications and design, and is always a fast learner and diligent worker.
Hailley says, "I'm fortunate to be part of the digital media revolution, the art of creating genuine customer service, and to shop and learn in a whole new creative forefront".
I'm so glad to have her on board!
