Introducing the Lost & Forged Mobile Boutique (Spoon Rings & More Out on the Road)
Best in Show Award for Innovative Booth Design at NY NOW Winter Market 2019
I created the Lost & Forged mobile boutique as a portable, versatile space to exhibit Lost & Forged creations. Lost & Forged celebrates transformation and imagination through metalwork jewelry, accessories and decor pieces, all forged by hand from reclaimed, vintage metal objects, especially old silver flatware. (Our products include silver spoon rings, fork bracelets, Judaica, and much more.)
The mobile boutique, too, relies on imaginative use of reclaimed metals, such as weathered barn roof panels, an old sliding storage unit door, a used snowmobile trailer frame, etc. The portable setup allows me to easily exhibit at a variety of outdoor and indoor events including wholesale shows, craft fairs, farmers markets, popup retail shows and more.
The mobile boutique booth fits onto a small, flat trailer for easy towing. It can be used at events while still on the trailer, or removed from the trailer and set down at ground level.
The Lost & Forged Mobile Boutique won Best in Show for innovative booth design at the NY NOW Winter Market in Feb, 2019, out of thousands of exhibitors.
Want a mobile boutique of your own? I'm starting to produce them for individual clients, in partnership with my friend, master builder Jacob Kirk. Our mobile boutique building operation is called Shop On the Road. For more details, or to get your shop on the road, please visit the Shop On the Road website, or email me (doug@lostandforged.com).
