Each piece is made from vintage sterling silver cocktail forks and natural amethysts - raw pieces or double terminated crystal points.
We set the amethysts with great care, utilizing a unique technique I developed. That is, we hand forge the fork tines themselves into a claw setting that securely holds each stone in place. This technique is special to silverware jewelry from Lost & Forged - your neighborhood jeweler doesn't set stones this way!
